Gulfside Oasis

The location was EXCELLENT, close to everything one could need, the beach is 15 minutes away. Neighborhood was very quiet. The host was very responsive. The pool was great! The house could use some major updating. It was clean, but outdated for the most part and "worn" feeling. Worn furniture, the King bed was super hard and not comfortable at all. These are my opinions, if you don't mind a very lived in feeling, worn out type of place, then you will be just fine. I was expecting nicer based on reviews. One issue we had was the door to the pool wouldn't lock, so we blocked it with chairs until my husband figured out how to fix it with a mini tool he brought with him. (I alerted the host and she was responsive to come look at it, but my husband fixed it before she needed to come over). The master shower was like a gym locker room, and was good if you are under like 5'6", we are not. Cramped master bathroom and needs some love. Temperature can't go below 69 degrees. No frills!
